Extrastaff are currently recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver, working for the UK’s largest independent multi-metals stockholder.
Benefits for HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Straight permanent from day 1

- Newly passed driver’s accepted
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:
- Multi-drop deliveries of metal products
- 10 to 12 drops per day max, up to 2 runs
- Use of scanning devices & completion of paperwork
- Use of ratchet straps to secure load
- Carrying out vehicle check on a daily basis
- No manual handling - offloaded by customer forklift
Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver:
- HGV Class 2 licence (C category) - max 6 points on licence
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Good customer service skills
- Reliability
- Good communication skills
