Role: HGV Class 2 Driver – permanent Location: Swanley Hours: 6am start – 45 hours per week Pay: £35,000 per annum Extrastaff are currently recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver, working for the UK’s largest independent multi-metals stockholder. Benefits for HGV Class 2 Driver: * Straight permanent from day 1 * Monday to Friday – no weekends * Vehicle pre-loaded * Working for the UK’s largest independent multi-metals stockholder. * Newly passed driver’s accepted HGV Class 2 Driver Duties: * Multi-drop deliveries of metal products * 10 to 12 drops per day max, up to 2 runs * Use of scanning devices & completion of paperwork * Use of ratchet straps to secure load * Carrying out vehicle check on a daily basis * No manual handling – offloaded by customer forklift Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver: * HGV Class 2 licence (C category) – max 6 points on licence * Digital Tachograph Card * Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) * Good customer service skills * Reliability * Good communication skills If you are interested in this HGV Class 2 Driver role, please apply ASAP for immediate start or call us on (phone number removed)
