Extrastaff are currently recruiting for Drivers Mates, working for the John Lewis Partnership, one of the UK's largest retail brands. Full training provided – induction + three days training.
Duties for Drivers Mates:
- Working as part of a two-man crew carrying out home deliveries & installations of furniture & white goods (including televisions, washing machines, fridge freezers, beds, sofas, etc.)
- Manual handling included – you will be required to deliver to the customer’s room of choice
- Use of scanning devices & completion of paperwork
- Communicating via mobile directly with the customer regarding delivery times
Requirements for Drivers Mates:
- Good customer service skills
- Flexibility regarding shifts times & days available
- Good telephone manner
- Reliability
- Good communication skills
- Must have previous drivers mate experience
