Extrastaff are delighted to be recruiting for a reliable and flexible Production Operative to join an ever-growing team at a busy indoor plastic recycling facility. This role involves moving materials efficiently around the plant, supporting the recycling process, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Currently for training until beginning of November Pay: £12.71 p/h, Optional 06:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 00:00 shift (Monday to Friday). November onwards Pay: Moves to £13.71 p/h, 18:00 - 06:00 shift, 4 on 4 off.

Duties of a Production Operative:
- Operate baler with stillage.
- Remove stillage from various parts of the warehouse.
- Move waste materials to designated processing areas.
- Assist with sorting and handling recyclable plastics when required.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Watch over and foresee any potential hazards that might bring the sortation lines to a halt.
- To be able to deal with blockages when they occur.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations.
