ExtraCare Charitable Trust is looking for a Special Projects Officer! Are you an experienced Projects Officer looking to develop your career with an award‑winning, forward‑thinking charity? We have an exciting opportunity for a Projects Officer to join our team based at our Head Office in Coventry. At The ExtraCare Charitable Trust, you will coordinate key workstreams focused on operational improvement and support the transition of project work into everyday practice. The role would suit someone comfortable working across teams and locations, asking thoughtful questions and following issues through. Someone who likes understanding how things work and fixing what doesn’t.
Key Duties
- Support diverse projects focused on continuous improvement and the embedding of lessons learned, staff/customer feedback and best practice systematically into our operations at locations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation for a diverse range of projects focused on improving how our operations work in practice, including but not limited to:
- Operational standardisation
- Resident experience journey‑mapping
- Regulatory compliance for operations
- Electric vehicle charging
- Data strategy
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement at Head Office and location teams across Operations, Governance and Corporate Resources.
- Track project actions and dependencies to ensure delivery milestones are met.
- Provide support in project administration tasks such as monitoring of key email inboxes, compilation of reports, policy updates, review of controlled documentation logs and creation/revision of documents as required.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to move between detail and the bigger picture.
- High levels of initiative and self‑direction; able to progress work independently and make sound judgments.
