Job Details:
- Role: Registered Care Manager
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: £46,473.00 per annum
- Location: New Oscott Retirement Village, 25 Fosseway Dr, Birmingham B23 5GQ
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Directly manage day-to-day operations and supervise Care Coordinators and frontline staff.
- Quality excellence: Ensure services meet and exceed CQC and local authority requirements through rigorous audits.
- Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams across the village to ensure holistic resident outcomes.
- Growth: Manage recruitment, staff retention, and ensure teams are highly trained and competent.
- Empowerment: Develop individualized care plans that promote maximum independence for residents.
Qualifications:
- Management experience: Proven track record of leading care teams and managing income/expenditure.
- Regulatory expertise: Deep understanding of CQC regulations (KLOEs) and experience leading inspections.
- Clinical/social care knowledge: Expertise in safeguarding and developing person-centred care plans.
- Background: Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a strong background, ready for the next step in your career.
- Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 3, strong preference for NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
