The ExtraCare Charitable Trust are recruiting for a Hospitality Assistant on a Part-Time 10 hours Contract, to join our friendly team, based at our New Oscott Retirement Village. If you have excellent customer service skills and some previous hospitality experience, come and join our friendly team at our New Oscott Retirement Village and support the village’s commitment to delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “better lives for older people”.

Role Details

  • Position: Hospitality Assistant
  • Contract: Permanent - Part-Time
  • Rate: £13.45 per hour
  • Hours: 10 hours per week (6 hours Bistro & 4 hours Bar)
  • Location: New Oscott Retirement Village

ExtraCare does not participate in the current “UK Visa Sponsorship” scheme. You must be able to evidence your Right to Work in the UK.

What will you do as our Hospitality Assistant?

  • Processing orders, providing excellent customer service to our residents and guests
  • Serving guests, coffees, teas, drinks, snacks and meals
  • Covering shifts for sickness, absence and busy periods
  • Clearing tables and ensuring the hospitality areas are always presentable

Our ideal Hospitality/Catering Assistant will have:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Team player
  • Previous Hospitality experience in front of house
  • Flexible to support in the kitchen when required
