St Oswald's Retirement Village, part of the ExtraCare Charitable Trust, are currently recruiting a Housekeeper on a part-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting time to be joining our St Oswald's Retirement Village and be part of a supportive team, in a luxury retirement village, based in Gloucester (GL1 2UF).

Role: Housekeeper

Hours: 18hrs per week

Salary: £14.12 per hour

Location: St Oswald's Retirement Village, Gloucester, GL1 2UF

As a Housekeeper, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • Spring (sparkle) cleaning of resident apartments
  • Using cleaning machinery (e.g., industrial vacuum cleaners and floor cleaning equipment)
  • Flexible, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
  • Being on your feet for long periods of time
  • At times lifting loads of up to 25 pounds
  • Control of the stock of cleaning materials and ensure they are kept in locked cupboards
  • Ordering of supplies and maintaining stock levels
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office would prove advantageous
  • Health & Safety procedures are followed
