If you're a Senior Manager looking for your next challenge in an exceptional healthcare environment, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Village Manager to take the lead at our charming and vibrant St Oswald's Retirement Village based in Gloucester on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5hrs per week).
In this role, you will lead a complex operation, balancing resident outcomes, regulatory compliance, operational performance and financial sustainability. Operating and managed by the ExtraCare Charitable Trust, this location sits within a well-established partnership with the property landlord, Rooftop Housing Group.

What will you do as our Village Manager?
- Lead, manage, motivate and support a diverse team to ensure the location is safe, financially sustainable, and compliant with all relevant legislation, regulatory standards, organisational policies and procedures.
- Be accountable for the overall operational performance of the location, achieving agreed measures of viability, safety and resident satisfaction, whilst creating and maintaining a vibrant, inclusive and balanced community.
- Build and uphold effective relationships with residents, colleagues, volunteers, partners, contractors, Local Authorities and other stakeholders.
- Maintain oversight of care, wellbeing, and dementia and mental wellbeing services within the location, ensuring they are effectively integrated into the resident offer and that risks, performance, service quality and resident outcomes are understood and acted upon appropriately.

Our ideal Village Manager will have:
- Experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams within a regulated, customer focused environment.
- Proficiency in managing operational performance through quality, compliance, financial and customer satisfaction measures.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and hold teams accountable for performance.
- Exceptional customer service ethic, problem-solving abilities and financial and business acumen.
- An understanding of CQC and Social Housing regulatory requirements is desirable.
