Earlsdon Park Retirement Village, part of the ExtraCare Charitable Trust, are currently recruiting for two part-time Receptionists. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our friendly team at Earlsdon Park Retirement Village and support the village’s commitment in delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “better lives for older people”.

Role Details:

  • Position: Receptionist
  • Contract: Permanent – Part-Time
  • Hours: 21 hours per week
  • Salary: £13.45 per hour
  • Location: Earlsdon Park Village, Albany Road, Earlsdon, Coventry, West Midlands, CV5 6JQ

What will you do as our Weekend Receptionist:

  • Meet and greet visitors in a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming manner.
  • Provide a friendly and helpful telephone service.
  • Ensure all visitors & contractors can be accounted for in case of an emergency.
  • Support the Housing Support team in providing enhanced housing management services to residents as appropriate.
  • Ensure reception area is kept tidy and report any shortfalls.
  • With the Administrator, provide a typing and photocopying service and order stationery on a weekly basis.
  • Set up systems to manage and keep accurate records of meeting room bookings.
  • Take comprehensive messages for members of staff or residents, ensuring they are passed on.
  • Train and guide residents, volunteers, or others to provide a competent service.
