We are looking for an energetic, creative and people-focused Learning and Development Trainer to help shape learning across the organisation and support colleagues to be at their best.

About the role: This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll design, deliver and continuously improve learning across induction, statutory and mandatory training, management development, digital learning, apprenticeship support and wider colleague development. A big part of the role is bringing statutory and mandatory training to life, making essential topics practical, engaging and memorable for learners. This includes areas such as safeguarding adults, fire safety, first aid, train-the-trainer moving and handling, and mental health awareness. You’ll work across face‑to‑face, virtual and online environments, creating learning that is accessible, relevant and impactful. No two days will be the same, and that’s part of the fun.
Location: Head Office, Coventry, CV3 2SN; with extensive travel to our locations and occasional overnight stays.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £38,000 per annum, plus car allowance of £3,500 per annum

About you: You’ll have strong experience in a Learning & Development or training role, with the confidence to design, deliver and evaluate effective learning for different audiences.
Qualifications and skills:
- Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
- Creativity, energy and a passion for helping people grow.
- Experience of blended learning, digital content and learning platforms.
- Strong organisation, flexibility and the ability to manage different priorities.
- A positive, inclusive and solution‑focused approach.
- A Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this.
