Rosewood Court are on the lookout for a talented, enthusiastic and passionate Cookto join our team on a relief basis. You will be based at our small and friendly Housing Scheme in Wellingborough (NN8 1LQ).The Restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious homemade traditional and nutritious foods, and you will play a vital role in the planning, preparation,cooking, and clean up.

  • Salary: ÂŁ13.31 per hour

Main responsibilities

  • Be responsible for providing homemade traditional meals.
  • Offer residents an excellent choice of meals which provide good nutritional value.
  • Assist with other kitchen duties and ensure HACCP is followed.
  • Ensure the menus are prepared within budget.
  • Be committed to always provide the highest standards of hygiene

  • Experience of working in a similar environment
  • Previous experience of budgeting.
  • Possess high kitchen standards.
  • Have a presence at front of house.
  • Ability to inspire and support the catering team.
  • Have empathy and understand our residents’ needs and dietary requirements.
  • Team player
  • Passionate and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
  • Qualified to QFC/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent

Our Process

We are looking to get the right persononboard ASAP and will be interviewing throughout the process (apply early to avoid disappointment). To be successful in this post you will need to be able to provide satisfactory references, medical clearance and Home Office Right to Work clearance.
