Domiciliary Care with a difference – all in one location! Earlsdon Park Village, our stunning Retirement Village based in Coventry, is looking to recruit Care and Support Workers to join the team. We are looking for naturally caring, compassionate and patient individuals who are enthusiastic about delivering excellent, Person-Centred Care. The successful candidates will be able to use their own initiative and problem solve through quick thinking as situations arise. You will be able to clearly communicate with our service users both verbally and in writing as they themselves may struggle to communicate effectively.

The Role:
Hours: Various contracts available with additional flex up hours and Relief Bank
Rate: £12.96 per hour
Location: Earlsdon Park Retirement Village, Coventry, CV5 6JQ
Contractual hours will be guaranteed giving you job security. Flex Up hours will be in addition to your contracted hours and will be used when needed to cover known and planned absences. The decision to use these hours will remain with the management team and you will be given prior notice should these additional flex hours need to be utilised.
You will be supporting the domiciliary care service at Earlsdon Park Village. This really is domiciliary care with a difference as it’s all in one location; you will not need to travel to conduct your role, you just need to ensure you can get yourself to and from Earlsdon Park Village for when work starts and finishes. (The care service operates across 365 days per year and there may be times when you will be required to work a major holiday, please bear this in mind if using public transport to get to and from work).
As a Care and Support Worker, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks:
- Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities.
- Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents.
- Encourage independence and self-belief.
- Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.
Person Specification:
- Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification.
- Personable, an effective communicator and a team player.
- Passionate about delivering a quality care service.
- Flexible with hours.
