If you have experience in Retail, we have the perfect opportunity for you! The ExtraCare Charitable Trust are recruiting for a dedicated part time Sales Assistant to work alongside the Shop Team, at our Charity Shop in our NEW Hednesford store, based in Cannock, Staffordshire.

Role Details:
- Hours: 7.5 hours per week
- Contract type: Part-time / Permanent
- Salary: ÂŁ12.71 per hour (ÂŁ4,970pa proârata, based on ÂŁ24,851pa FTE)
- Location: Victoria Shopping Centre, Victoria Street, Hednesford, Cannock, WS12 1DW

What will you do as our Sales Assistant?
- Achieve maximum sales at all times.
- Deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Ensure high standards of merchandising and cleanliness are maintained throughout the shop.
- Support the shop/deputy manager to actively promote the Gift Aid scheme adhering to the policies, work instructions and HMRC guidelines.
- Ensure all stock is consistently priced in line with policy.
- Ensure there are adequate stock levels on the shop floor and that stock is rotated according to company guidelines.
- Assist in the dayâtoâday supervision of volunteers.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers.
Our ideal Sales Assistant:
- Will have previous retail experience and experience of cash handling.
- Have knowledge/experience of administrative duties.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Be a team player with good organisational skills.
- IT literate and numerate, plus good communication skills.
