The ExtraCare Charitable Trust are recruitingan Activity Coordinatoron a Part-time permanent contract, based at our Earlsdon Park Retirement Village in Coventry.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experiencedActivities Coordinator to join our friendly team at ourEarlsdon ParkRetirement Village and support the village’s commitment in delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “better lives for older people”.

Role Details:

  • Position: Activity Coordinator
  • Hours: Part time,25 hours per week – flexibility needed to cover evening& weekend events
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Earlsdon Park Retirement Village, Coventry, CV56JQ
  • Hourly Rate: £13.11per hour

What will you do as our Activity Coordinator?

  • Ensure a varied, exciting, and dynamic activity plan is implemented for residents.
  • Produce and distribute activity programmes.
  • Encourage residents to lead their own interest groups / activity sessions.
  • With the Head of Care, ensure all residents receive escorts when needed.
  • Assist the LifestyleManager with planning, organisation, and preparation of events.
  • Identify upcoming events, current issues and news linked to their village, and contact the PR Team.

Our ideal Activity Coordinator:

  • Will have an excellent opportunity to allow their imagination and creativity to lead. Of course, the successful candidate will also need to have excellent organisational skills and a good understanding of financial awareness.
  • Have the attributes required to lead the Activities Program and provide the right kind of support and encouragement for our residents to lead a fun and exciting schedule.
