Extra Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated and analytical junior Data Analyst to join our clients on-site team in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in data analytics while contributing meaningful insights that improve operational performance and decision-making across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
- Build and maintain dashboards and performance reporting packs
- Extract, cleanse, and validate data from ERP systems and other platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop KPIs and track business performance
- Present clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
Details:
- Location: Wednesbury, WS10
- Salary: £26,000–£32,000 PA
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Requirements:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
- Experience with Google Sheets/Workspace
- Willingness to learn Power BI or Looker Studio
- SQL/MySQL knowledge desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and business applications
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
