Details of a Quality Inspector
Aldridge
Monday – Friday: 7am – 4pm
Friday: 6am – 3pm
£14.50 p/h
Temp - Perm
Role of a Quality Inspector
Quality inspecting
Identify incorrect profiles, dimensional discrepancies and visible quality defects.
Use measuring equipment (digital/vernier callipers, micrometres, tape measures and gauges)
Clearly identify and report non-conforming products before further production or dispatch.
Record inspection results and assist with NCRs and quality records where required.
Physically handle and move components as part of the inspection process.
Requirements of a Quality Inspector
Must have factory, engineering, steel or manufacturing
Must be able to use manual measuring equipment
Must be able to carry out first-off/dimensional inspection
Must be confident reading engineering drawings
