Extra Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Picker to join a manufacturing company based in Walsall (WS6).
No previous warehouse or manufacturing experience required. Full training provided.

£12.91 per hour
Monday to Thursday, 7:45am 4:45pm
Friday, 7:45am 11:45am
39 hours per week

The Role
You'll be working within a manufacturing environment, picking parts and components from stock and creating kits ready for the assembly team.
You'll be responsible for making sure the correct parts and quantities are picked and prepared for production.
The role will include:
Picking parts from stock
Reading and following picking sheets
Checking part numbers and quantities
Creating kits for production
Packing and organising components
Using a computer to check and record information
Moving stock around the warehouse
Working closely with the assembly team
Keeping the warehouse and work area organised
What We're Looking For
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience isn't essential. We're looking for someone with a good attitude who is reliable, organised and willing to learn.
You'll need to:
Be reliable and punctual
Have good attention to detail
Be comfortable using a computer
Be able to read and follow picking sheets
Have good basic numeracy
Be able to follow instructions
Work well as part of a team
Be comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
