Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Transport Co-ordinator for one of our clients based in West Bromwich. This position requires a strong understanding of transport operations, business processes, and transport management systems. The Transport Coordinator will be responsible for daily transport diary management and driver liaison.
Transport Co-ordinator Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate daily transport operations
- Diary Management including booking MOTS, Inspections, repairs & maintenance
- Producing reports
- Driving licence checks
- Answering inbound calls
- Stock Checks on ADR Bag equipment
Transport Co-ordinator Details:
- Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 PA
- Location: West Bromwich (B70)
- Schedule: 07:00AM – 4:00PM (Mon-Thu), 07:30AM – 2:30PM (Fri)
Transport Co-ordinator Requirements:
- Prior experience in a transport role
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience of working in transport and managing the movements of HGV vehicles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
