Details of a Tig Welder:

  • £17.50 p/h
  • Monday to Friday 7:45am - 4:45pm (Friday is 1:30pm finish)
  • Brownhills
  • Temp - Perm
  • Overtime available

Job role of a Tig Welder:

  • Coded welding experience
  • Welding of stainless and carbon steel tubes and plates
  • Positional welding on pressure vessels, pressure parts and superheater pipework

The Ideal Candidate Requirements of a Tig Welder:

  • Will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must have experience in welding tubular pressure parts to X-Ray standard
  • Be confident with 6G TIG welding
  • Previous qualifications/codings
  • Weld trade test will be required which will be x-rayed
  • Will be able for his butt welds to pass X-ray
  • DPI and MPI
