Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a skilled MIG / TIG Welder in the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

Duties of a MIG / TIG Welder:

  • Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components according to specifications
  • Assemble and fit metal parts using hand tools and power tools
  • Read and interpret technical drawings / Blueprints
  • abricate sheet metal components as necessary for various projects

Requirements of a MIG / TIG Welder:

  • Proven experience as a MIG and TIG Welder or in a similar role within the fabrication industry
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
  • Familiarity with welding techniques, including stick welding, MIG and TIG
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

Details of a MIG / TIG Welder:

  • Hours – Mon to Thurs 8:30am – 4:30pm, Fri – 8:30am – 12pm
  • Pay – 13 to 16.50 per hour
