Details of a Production Engineer Cheslyn Hay Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:15pm Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm £28,000 - £43,000 per year (Depending on experience) Permanent Roles of a Production Engineer Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing (NPI).
Produce and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), production documentation and engineering data.
Provide technical support to the production team throughout the manufacturing process.
Work closely with Production, Quality and Purchasing to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Investigate production issues and implement effective solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency and productivity.
Complete Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and maintain accurate engineering records.
Ensure manufacturing information is accurate and available before production starts.
Support capacity planning and engineering workload management.
Mentor apprentices and support the development of junior engineers.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and health
