Extra Recruitment are currently seeking a Facilities Manager / Maintenance Operative to join a well-established school in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant and well-presented learning environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The Role: You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the school site, ensuring buildings and grounds are safe, functional, and fully compliant. Duties include:

  • General maintenance and repairs (basic carpentry, plumbing, painting)
  • Routine inspections and reactive maintenance
  • Supporting health & safety, fire safety and compliance checks
  • Maintaining grounds, access areas and site security
  • Assisting with audits, inspections, and site records
  • Supporting school activities, events, and daily operations
