Details of a Machine Operative
- Location: Hixon ST18
- Working Days: Monday to Thursday
- Hours: 6am - 4pm
- Pay: Β£12.21 - Β£15.00 p/h (Pay rate depends on experience)
- Type: Temp to perm
Roles of a Machine Operative
- Operating low-pressure / low-temperature overmoulding machines (Moldman / Optimel)
- Loading inserts and carrying out overmoulding/encapsulation of cables, connectors, and electronics
- Setting basic parameters and completing mould changeovers to production spec
- Quality inspection and finishing (flash trim, defects, sealing/cosmetic checks)
- Following drawings/work instructions and completing production paperwork/traceability

- Must have a prior background
- Must be physically capable of heavy lifting
- Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to drive due to location of the role
- Must be able to attend an interview
