Job Details
- Pay: £17.50 to £21.54 per hour (depending on experience)
- Location: Hixon, Stafford (ST18)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
- Contract: Full-time, temp to perm
- Shifts: Days only, no weekendsPay Frequency: Weekly
The Role
- Creating and updating electrical CAD drawings and designs
- Designing wiring harnesses, cable looms and electrical systems
- Producing wiring diagrams, electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings
- Preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), wire lists and technical documentation
- Working from customer specifications and existing technical drawings
- Updating designs and drawings when required
- Working with engineers and production teams to ensure drawings are suitable for manufacturing
Essential Requirements
- Experience using electrical CAD software such as Rapid Harness, AutoCAD Electrical, Zuken E3 or similar
- Experience producing electrical drawings, wiring diagrams or schematics
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and technical understanding
Desirable Experience
- Wiring harness or cable loom design
- Vehicle electrical systems
- Electrical manufacturing, automotive or engineering environments
