Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician in the West Bromwich area. Main Job Responsibilities of a Laboratory Technician: * Maintain calibration register and inform your supervisor when calibration due * Shelf-life studies (checking stability of products over time periods) planning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments and trials * Produce gravimetric recipes with Supervisor checks * Conducting analysis for other parts of the business and produce certificates of analysis and accurately record Duties of a Laboratory Technician: * Inspecting, associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices on a regular basis and report to Supervisor if not functional * Performing all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections before cylinders are released * Ensuring cylinders are properly maintained (any cylinders requiring maintenance or repair are removed from service until corrected) * Attention to detail regarding labelling of cylinders. Accurate Labelling of cylinders and recording of data * Ensuring cylinder filling records are accurately maintained and following all required procedures in order to comply with local, HSE and Government regulations and ISO standards * Maintaining a neat, clean and tidy Lab appearance. Owning the running of the area and maintaining an orderly work environment Details of a Laboratory Technician: * Hours – Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm * Salary – £25,000- £30,000 * Benifits – 28 days holiday, Pension, Morgage refrence etc If you are intrested in this role please contact us on (phone number removed)
