Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer for one of our clients based in Oldbury. As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for the management of projects through the design and drawing office, reporting into the Design Office Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Design of medium rise building structures
- Provide technical support and advice to Sales Managers
- Represent the Company at design team meetings and site visits when necessary
- Management of projects through design and drawing office
Details:
- Location: Oldbury, Birmingham
- Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 PA
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and 8.30am to 1.30pm on Friday
Requirements:
- Experience in structural design of building structures in all materials
- Achieved a Structural or Civil Engineering Degree
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Experience working to British Standards regarding Design and structures
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
