The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer for one of our clients based in Oldbury. As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for the management of projects through the design and drawing office, reporting into the Design Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of medium rise building structures
  • Provide technical support and advice to Sales Managers
  • Represent the Company at design team meetings and site visits when necessary
  • Management of projects through design and drawing office

Details:

  • Location: Oldbury, Birmingham
  • Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 PA
  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and 8.30am to 1.30pm on Friday

Requirements:

  • Experience in structural design of building structures in all materials
  • Achieved a Structural or Civil Engineering Degree
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Experience working to British Standards regarding Design and structures
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
