We are recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver in Swadlincote for ongoing, full-time work delivering building supplies. This is a long-term Class 2 Driver role offering clean, organised work with minimal handball and consistent hours. You will complete 3–8 deliveries per day, making this an ideal position for a Class 2 Driver who wants straightforward routes and strong weekly earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle on scheduled delivery routes
- Deliver building supplies to customer sites (3–8 drops per day)
- Secure loads using ratchet straps and load restraint equipment
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork
- Ensure safe and timely deliveries
- Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- At least 9 months recent Class 2 driving in the last year (Tacho checked)
- Ratchet strapping experience essential
- Strong level of English
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
