CAD Engineer

Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CAD Engineer for one of our clients based in Birmingham. As a CAD Engineer you will working within a small team of both internal and external Draughtspersons.

CAD Engineer Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Assistant Works Manager for interpreting technical drawings / 3D visuals

Producing technical 2D/3D drawings through AutoCAD/Inventor

Booking information out onto the shop floor to prepare for manufacturing

Involvement within the process from inception to completion

CAD Engineer Details:

Location: Birmingham

Schedule: (7.30 to 5.00 Monday-Thursday & 7.30 to 4.00 Friday)

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 PA

CAD Engineer Requirements:

2 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience in designing to manufacture

Experience with joinery and or metalwork

Knowledge of manufacturing xiskglj processes

Ability to read architectural drawings and convert to a working document
