We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver in Burton upon Trent for ongoing, full-time general haulage work. This is a long-term Class 1 Driver role offering consistent hours, a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, and reliable weekly earnings. As a Class 1 Driver, you will complete general haulage deliveries to commercial customers, working within a professional and well-organised transport operation. Key Responsibilities – Class 1 Driver
- Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled general haulage routes
- Complete deliveries and collections to commercial customer sites
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
- Ensure loads are transported safely and securely
- Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with the transport office
Requirements – Class 1 Driver
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
