Job Description:\\n\\nExtra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Estimator in the Birmingham area.\\n\\nDetails of a Estimator:\\n\\n * ​​​Monday – Friday\\n\\n * 08:30 start – 4:30 finish\\n\\n * Full time (36.25 hours per week)\\n\\n * £30,000 – £40,000\\n\\nRole of a Estimator:\\n\\n * Review enquiries to determine suitable for pricing (in conjunction with Sales Manager)\\n\\n * Completion of price for tender including outwork, materials and internal manufacturing hours assessment for both joinery & metalwork.\\n\\n * Identification of points for competitive advantage and agreement on method of pricing in conjunction with Sales Manager.\\n\\n * Briefing on tender to Managing Director to allow policy to be decided.\\n\\n * Completion of tender submission including required bills & breakdowns\\n\\n * Briefing in conjunction with Contracts Manager over method of pricing at Contract Launch meeting.\\n\\n * Liaison with setting out & foremen to ensure items are drawn and manufactured in accordance with estimate (including drawing sign off).\\n\\n * Pricing of variations identified with contract for inclusion by contracts manager in account applications.\\n\\n * All relevant Company Standing Instructions must be followed at all times i.e. Purchase Invoice management, glass checking procedures.\\n\\nRequirements of a Estimator:\\n\\n * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or relevant on the job experience Knowledge of joinery and metalwork.\\n\\n * The estimator should always assess the enquiry to determine methods of pricing that will result in a competitive advantage to enable the contract to be won.\\n\\nBenefits of a Estimator:\\n\\n * 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (4 days to be taken over Christmas & NY)\\n\\n * Pension Scheme\\n\\n * Free Parking\\n\\n * Life Insurance\\n\\n * Mortgage references\\n\\nIf you are interested in the above role, please click apply or call us on (phone number removed)
