Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CAD Engineer for one of our clients based in Birmingham. As a CAD Engineer you will be working within a small team of both internal and external Draughtspersons.
CAD Engineer Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Assistant Works Manager for interpreting technical drawings / 3D visuals
- Producing technical 2D/3D drawings through AutoCAD/Inventor
- Booking information out onto the shop floor to prepare for manufacturing
- Involvement within the process from inception to completion
CAD Engineer Details:
- Location: Birmingham
- Schedule: (7.30 to 5.00 Monday-Thursday & 7.30 to 4.00 Friday)
- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 PA
CAD Engineer Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in designing to manufacture
- Experience with joinery and or metalwork
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Ability to read architectural drawings and convert to a working document
