Join Our Team as a Class 2 Driver in Wetherby
Are you a dependable Class 2 Driver looking for steady, long-term work with a respected drinks logistics company? We have immediate, ongoing work available in Wetherby for a professional Class 2 Driver. This is a full-time, temp to perm Class 2 Driver position offering regular Monday to Friday shifts. Working alongside a drivers mate, you'll be delivering alcoholic beverages to licensed venues across Yorkshire. This is a hands-on role involving physical work, customer service, and safe delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks before starting routes
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle on multi-drop delivery routes
- Work with a drivers mate to complete deliveries efficiently and professionally
- Collect empty kegs, pallets, and returns where required
- Deliver excellent customer service at each stop
- Follow all transport, health & safety, and tachograph regulations
- Report any vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good geographical knowledge of Wetherby and West Yorkshire
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous multi-drop experience preferred but not essential
- Positive attitude, reliable, and safety-focused
