Extra Men Limited are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to offer support to one of our most trusted clients in the Lutterworth area. Our client needs a pool of ADHOC drivers who are looking for 2-5 days work per week in accordance with our customer's needs. Please note upon applying for this role, you understand that we cannot offer guaranteed five days a week, though there may be some weeks in which five days are available. If you are looking for flexibility with your working days, this may suit you well. However, if you are looking for ongoing work within the same area, then I would invite you to have a look at some of our other ads as we do have ongoing opportunities that may suit your needs better.

We have two types of work dependant on start times:

  • Anything from 01:15-03:30 is delivering supermarket goods to RDC's and offloading with the help of an electric pump truck. Average 10 hours per shift.
  • Anything 06:30-14:30 is delivering bread to bakeries and RDC's. One delivery and one collection. Average 12 hours per shift.

Weekend days being included in your availability would be preferred.

Assessment Information: A driving assessment is required prior to the start date. Assessments are approximately 7–8 hours long and they’re a mixture of theory and practical. Revision packs are provided before assessment. Please ensure you have driving hours.
