Extra Men Limited are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 PM Drivers around the Lichfield area to support one of our most valued clients: one of the UK's leading names in DIY and Home Improvement products. Our client offers 10 hours minimum paid hours with a paid break, plus a daily bonus and overtime after 10 hours.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for delivering caged goods to retail stores across the UK.
- The role involves handball, with drivers expected to unload caged goods onto the tail lift and push to back doors.
- The trailers are pre-loaded before your arrival, ensuring a smooth start to each shift.
Shift and Compensation
- The shift pattern is Monday-Friday PM every week, guaranteed bookings ongoing.
- Our client is looking for start times between 11:00 and 16:00.
- A daily bonus applies to both of these start windows, potentially adding £60 on AM and £70 on PM on a 5 day week.
- An overtime rate has now been introduced after 10 hours per day.
- Please note: No alternative PM start times are currently available, although we can offer AM start times of 00:00 to 03:00 starts.
Other
- An assessment is required prior to full site access. Drivers are paid upon passing.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Licence held and used for over 1 year.
- No more than 6 penalty points.
- No DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS, or IN endorsements.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Punctual, reliable, and respectful of others' time.
- Physically capable and comfortable with handball duties.
