Extra Men Limited are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Marshall with a valid Class 1 Licence to support one of our most valued clients based in the Birmingham area, working as a driver with light yard marshalling duties. Our client is a highly reputable and well-established organisation within the exhibition and trade show industry, specialising in the delivery of bespoke exhibition equipment to venues across the UK.
What's on offer:
- 4 days work per week, with opportunities for overtime
- Average 12-hour shifts (45-minute break deducted)
- Regular work with a respected and reliable client

The role:
- Delivering exhibition equipment to venues nationwide (commonly London and Scotland)
- Assisting with unloading and handling goods where required (handball involved)
- Yard marshalling duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Shunting and manoeuvring vehicles within the yard
- Supporting general yard organisation and efficiency
Working hours: Flexibility is essential. Applicants must be available for varying start times and occasional weekend work, depending on business needs.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Licence (held and actively used for a minimum of 1 year)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS, or IN endorsements)
- Previous yard marshalling experience preferred (but not essential)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual, and professional with strong communication skills
- Willingness to work long hours and stay out overnight when required
