Responsibilities

  • Support residents with household and domestic tasks such as laundry, shopping, cleaning and financial transactions, including paying bills.
  • Prepare meals, drinks and snacks when necessary.
  • Encourage and enable residents to follow agreed care plans.
  • Assist residents with getting up in the morning and with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, undressing and going to bed in the evening.
  • Provide help with medication administration and ensure it is taken as required.
  • Put resident wellbeing at the heart of the service, going the extra mile to help residents live their best lives and keeping managers and key agencies informed of progress.
