Role Description:
The Senior Account Manager will ensure that the needs, expectations, and requirements of our customers are determined and met and ensure that we strive to maintain customer focus. The Senior National Account Manager will be responsible for the management of volume, profit, and net revenue for a high-level customer account portfolio across retail, foodservice and food manufacturing.
Ideally the role is office based with travel expected for customer visits, however, hybrid working will be considered. This is an exciting role, joining the business at a time of growth and expansion, while keeping the customers at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for managing own customer list and margins.
- Be the primary point of contact for your customers, quickly answering any queries and resolving any concerns efficiently.
- Ensure all samples are sourced and distributed according to customer requirements.
- Communicate customer requirements to the management team and relevant departments, chasing for any updates when necessary
- Working closely with other departments to meet customer demands.
- Visit current customers for full account reviews.
- Ensure all sales enquiries are dealt with promptly.
- Determine costs and generate quotes for customers.
- Negotiate with customers on pricing levels.
- Monitor our performance and customer satisfaction.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with customers.
- Complete forecasting and performance reviews of accounts.
- Provide support to the Directors and sales team for all strategic sales planning.
- Participate in industry events to represent the company and network with current and potential customers.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Previous experience as a Senior National Account Manager within the FMCG environment.
- Experience of managing and developing food service and retail accounts at a national level.
- Proven track record of onboarding high-volume customers.
- Ability and confidence to negotiate at all levels and build business relationships
- Experience in participating in industry events.
- Experience in developing and launching new products with customers.
- Ability to manage and report on sales performance.

Working Hours:
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
- Office based but with travel expected for client visits..
