Role Description
As a Goods In Manager, you will be responsible for unloading and accurately booking in goods delivered to site, whilst completing the necessary inbound checks required to maintain compliance.
You will work with the goods in operative to effectively utilise space, label pallets and maintain accurate records within the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all inbound deliveries and goods receipt processes.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders, product specifications, and delivery documentation.
- Ensure accurate stock booking and inventory management within the ERP/SAP system.
- Investigate and resolve shortages, damages, and supplier non-conformances.
- Maintain full batch and material traceability.
- Ensure the Goods intake area remains compliant with BRCGS, HACCP, GMP, allergen control, and site procedures.
- Conduct intake quality checks, temperature verification, and documentation reviews.
- Quarantine and report non-conforming materials.
- Support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Goods Intake team.
- Manage labour planning and departmental performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with Procurement, Planning, Production, Technical, and Warehouse teams to ensure goods intake is run efficiently.
- Working along side stock control team to investigate and address issues.

Working Hours
- Core Hours 9am-5pm / 10am-6pm, expectation to spend a shift with nights twice a month
