This is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover position for a Senior National Account Manager, with an anticipated start date of July/August 2026. You will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with customers across the foodservice and food manufacturing sectors, ensuring their needs, expectations and requirements are fully understood and consistently met. The role will maintain a strong customer-focused approach while identifying opportunities to strengthen strategic partnerships, drive account growth and maximise revenue. The role is office based but travel to customer sites is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for full P&L of sales teams accounts within foodservice and food manufacturing.
- Be the primary point of contact for key accounts, with a proven ability to deal and resolve challenges in a self-sufficient manner.
- Develop relationships and identify opportunities with strategic customer targets.
- Maintain and grow account base in line with targets.
- Creating and executing plans to successfully onboard new customers and product set up in line with our sales strategy.
- Communicate customer requirements to the Management team.
- Ensure that all samples are sourced and distributed according to customer requirements.
- Working closely with other departments to meet customer demands.
- Visit current customers for full account reviews and action all agreed points.
- Ensure all sales enquiries are dealt with promptly.
- Determine costs and generate quotes for customers.
- Negotiate with customers on pricing levels.
- Monitor our performance and customer satisfaction.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with customers.
- Complete forecasting and performance reviews of accounts.
- Provide support to the Directors and sales team for all strategic sales planning.
The Ideal Candidate
- Food commercial background with experience of dealing with Foodservice & Food Manufacturing customers, including Foodservice Buying Groups.
- At least 3 years previous experience at a similar level, within FMCG industry.

Working Hours
