This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the 100 fastest growing companies in the UK. The Senior National Account Manager will look after key accounts within the business, identify opportunities and drive growth specifically in the retail sector. The SNAM will be expected to maintain a customer focused approach keeping the customers at the heart of everything we do. Ideally the role is office based with travel expected for customer visits, however, hybrid working will be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working at a high level and taking responsibility for key accounts into retail.
  • Full P&L responsibility of customer accounts.
  • Proven ability to deal and resolve challenges in a self-sufficient manner.
  • Develop relationships and identify opportunities with strategic customer targets.
  • Maintain and grow account base in line with targets.
  • Communicate customer requirements to the Management team and be responsible for delivering customer service.
  • Ensure all samples are sourced and distributed according to customer requirements.
  • Work closely with other departments to meet customer demands.
  • Visit current customers for full account reviews.
  • Ensure all sales enquiries are dealt with promptly.
  • Determine costs and generate quotes for customers.
  • Negotiate with customers on pricing levels.
  • Monitor our performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Complete forecasting and performance reviews of accounts.
  • Provide support to the Directors and sales team for all strategic sales planning.

The ideal candidate:

  • Food commercial background with account manager experience of dealing with a major retailer.
  • At least 3 years previous experience in a similar role, within FMCG industry.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Office based but with travel expected for client visits.
