What are we looking for?
Essential Skills
- Strong communication skills, with at least 3 years experience in a coordination, facilitation, or communications role.
- Organised, proactive, and reliable.
- Confident using a computer, online messaging platforms, and shared documents.
Desirable
- Experience in remote or volunteer-led team environments.
- Familiarity with XRUK groups and circles (helpful but not essential).
- Experience representing a team or organisation in external meetings.
About The Role
Digital Rebellion is a small, dynamic team within Extinction Rebellion UK that creates accessible, at-home digital actions to engage people in non-violent climate activism—wherever they are.
What You’ll Do
- Represent Digital Rebellion at XRUK meetings.
- Report back to the team on campaign opportunities and collaboration possibilities.
- Manage information flow between our team and others.
- Support Team Guides (Internal Coordinators) when necessary.
- Act as the main point of contact for other XR groups wanting to connect with Digital Rebellion.

- Remote working with flexible hours.
- Zoom with closed captions enabled.
- Support and onboarding provided by the current Internal Coordinator.
- Requires access to a computer, keyboard, and stable internet connection.
