Through the three stages of the Transitional Mentoring Support ModelEmotional Support, Advice and Guidance, and Hand-holdingthe Mentoring Support Worker will help young people overcome barriers to progression, improve their wellbeing and quality of life, develop independence, make healthy lifestyle choices, and access education, training and employment opportunities. This role may also involve working with families and wider support networks of young people. The postholder must demonstrate resilience, empathy and an open-minded approach when responding to complex needs and challenges.
