Salary: Grade 5 salary scale: £25,614 - £31,325 per annum.

Hours: Residential - 48 hours per shift

Location: Delivery of services takes place at our residential location is Roscor Youth Village, Enniskillen. Outside of this we have offices in Spencer Road, Derry/Londonderry and Enniskillen, either of which can be utilised for office work, as well as remote working on occasion. Applicants should also note that depending on the young person's location staff will be required to collect them from their home location.

Contract Status: Permanent

We are currently looking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced Key Workers to support the current service and potential growth in our Short Stay Break Service based at our Roscor site. There are opportunities available for permanent or bank contracts.

About the service: The Short Stay Break Service meets the needs of young people (8-17) and their families by providing an alternative to placement for 4 days and 3 nights, social, educational, cultural and recreational break at an Extern youth facility. Short Stay Break Service staff engages the child or young person in a range of activities and can help him/her examine lifestyle issues while the social worker intervenes with the carers thus allowing the child or young person to return to their living arrangements with the crisis being averted.

Overnight allowance of £83.36 per night (potential £8k of additional annual income to that of your basic annual salary pro rata). On average full time staff carry out 32 shifts per annum after annual leave. This residential working pattern can allow for beneficial work life balance.
