Exterior Property Care (EPC) is growing, and we're looking for an ambitious, experienced and highly motivatedDoor-to-Door Sales Representativeto join our team.

This isn't simply a canvassing position.

We're looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career in sales, take ownership of their territory and earnings, and ultimately progress intoSales Management and leadership positions as EPC expands.

You'll represent EPC directly within residential areas across London, Essex and surrounding areas, introducing homeowners to our professional exterior property-care services.

Our services include window cleaning, gutter cleaning, driveway and patio cleaning, pressure washing, roof cleaning and other exterior property-care services.

The Earnings & Progression

Your starting basic salary will be:

£36,000 per annum

You'll also earnuncapped commission, meaning there is no ceiling on what you can earn through sales performance.

In addition, EPC operates a performance-based salary progression programme.

Hit your agreed targets for each three-month performance period and your basic salary increases by 10%.

For illustration, sustained qualifying increases would take a £36,000 starting salary approximately through:

£36,000 ? £39,600 ? £43,560 ? £47,916 ? £52,708 ? £57,979 ? £63,777 ? £70,154 ? £77,169 ? £84,886 ? £93,375 ? £100,000 cap

The basic salary is capped at£100,000 per annum.

Commission is not capped.

That means exceptional performers can continue increasing their total earnings even after reaching the maximum basic salary.

All salary increases are subject to the employee achieving the targets and eligibility requirements set out in EPC's commission and progression scheme.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be responsible for developing new residential customers within designated territories.

Your typical responsibilities will include:

• Door-to-door prospecting and customer acquisition
• Approaching homeowners confidently and professionally
• Introducing customers to EPC and our services
• Identifying which EPC services would benefit each property
• Explaining services, pricing and available options clearly
• Providing or arranging quotations
• Handling customer questions and objections
• Converting conversations and quotations into paying customers
• Generating leads and building your own sales pipeline
• Following up prospective customers
• Working towards daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly targets
• Accurately recording every lead and customer interaction within the EPC CRM
• Maintaining accurate customer and sales records
• Planning your territory and routes effectively
• Reporting performance to your Sales Manager
• Identifying particularly strong areas and opportunities
• Providing feedback on customer demand and competitor activity
• Representing EPC professionally at all times

Pipeline management, CRM accuracy, territory ownership, customer relationships, target achievement and professional face-to-face selling are all standard components of strong field-sales positions.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for asalesperson, not simply somebody willing to knock on doors.

The ideal candidate will be confident walking into a residential area, approaching people they've never met, starting conversations and converting those conversations into customers.

Essential

Previous sales experience is required.

Previous experience in one or more of the following would be particularly valuable:

Door-to-door sales, field sales, direct sales, home-improvement sales, telecoms, utilities, property services, window cleaning, exterior cleaning, roofing, driveways, estate agency, automotive sales or another target-driven face-to-face sales environment.

You must also have:

Driving Requirements

Because this is a field-based position, applicantsmust have:

A full, clean UK driving licence

and

Their own reliable vehicle suitable for travelling throughout their allocated territory.

You must be comfortable travelling throughout London, Essex and surrounding areas as required.

However, because of the earning potential and responsibility attached to this position,previous sales experience is crucial.
