We are working with a well-established, growing engineering consultancy looking to appoint a talented Structural BIM Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural BIM Technician to become part of a collaborative, design-led environment, working on a diverse portfolio of building projects across the UK.

The Role

As a Structural BIM Technician, you’ll play a key role in producing and coordinating structural drawings and models, supporting engineers across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This hands-on role suits a Structural BIM Technician who enjoys technical detailing, BIM workflows, and involvement from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and manage high-quality structural drawings and BIM models
  • Develop detailed construction packages alongside engineers and architects
  • Coordinate design information and resolve detailing conflicts
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and wider design teams
  • Attend meetings and support technical coordination
  • Carry out site visits and assist with construction queries
  • Ensure work aligns with BIM standards and project requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Structural / BIM Technician within a consultancy environment
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (preferred) and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of BIM processes (Level 2 or equivalent)
