Smurfit Westrock, a global leader in paper-based packaging, are seeking an experienced Site HR Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team in Abercarn. This standalone, part-time role (25 hours/week, Mon–Fri, hybrid and flexible) offers the chance to make a real impact across both shopfloor and office teams. This role blends operational and strategic HR responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who excel at navigating both day-to-day HR tasks and broader organisational initiatives. Other responsibilities will include: * Lead and deliver both day-to-day HR operations and strategic initiatives. * Manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee records. * Advise on employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and union matters. * Drive talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement. * Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture and support professional development. * Partner with the Senior Leadership Team and act as a key liaison with union representatives. About You The successful Site HR Manager will have experience as a HR professional, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Other requirements include: * CIPD qualified or equivalent experience. * Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and union relations. * Integrity, resilience, and a passion for empowering others.
