MIG Welder required for a long-term assignment based in Peterlee, working within a modern, high-quality manufacturing environment.
This MIG Welder role offers excellent rates of pay, regular overtime, monthly bonuses and the opportunity to develop skills in a safety‑critical, quality‑driven operation producing heavy-duty equipment for global markets. This will be a 2 year agency contract with 1 months’ notice given.
Role Overview – MIG Welder
The successful MIG Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for MIG welding and fabrication work to tight tolerances, following standard work procedures and working from build and welding fixtures. The role requires a strong focus on quality, safety and teamwork.
What’s Required
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Ideally have experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience working to tight tolerances
Pay & Hours
- 36.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- 3 shift rotation
- Shift rates from: £19.55 - £26.39 per hour
- Overtime Available
- Monthly performance and attendance bonuses

Skills Test
- All applicants must successfully pass a skills test prior to offer.
