Our client is an award‑winning building design consultancy currently experiencing a period of growth. With exciting new projects on the horizon, they are looking for a Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Northallerton, Otley, Durham, Kendal or Cockermouth and will offer hybrid working options.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience

Role:
You will be providing a variety of services including those relating to building pathology, design, project management, building surveys and contract administration.
Other responsibilities include:
- Production of Electrical Building Services design calculations using a wide range of techniques ranging from simple hand calculations through to industry standard software
- Producing feasibility reports, condition surveys, design specifications and drawings suitable for all RIBA work stages
- Undertaking detailed surveys on electrical building services to advise on their suitability for continued use
- Visiting sites to attend meetings, carry out inspections and surveys
- Carry out project design and complete H&S risk assessments to meet current CDM regulation requirements
About You:
As Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will be a professional, ambitious, competent and enthusiastic Building Services Design Engineer looking for a progressive role.
Other requirements include:
- Post degree/HNC experience working as an electrical engineer
- Has a good working knowledge of electrical services
- Has practical experience of applying their knowledge and competence across a variety of projects
- Appreciates complex situations and obtains assistance from others to complete tasks when required
- Experience of working closely with other disciplines to produce coordinated deliverables
