We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing organisation, seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager to oversee its engineering function and lead ongoing operational and maintenance improvements. The Engineering Manager role requires a proven leader with experience driving high‑performing maintenance teams and delivering consistently reliable plant performance.

Role Summary
As Engineering Manager, you will lead and develop a multi‑skilled engineering team, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operation of all plant assets. You will drive maintenance strategy, minimise downtime, and support ongoing improvements across equipment reliability, asset care and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration and accountability.
- Own and deliver preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.
- Ensure high‑quality maintenance standards, working closely with reliability and SAP/CMMS functions.
- Oversee engineering budgets, KPIs and performance improvements.
- Manage contractors, service agreements and engineering resources effectively.
- Support capital projects, CI initiatives and operator maintenance training.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical engineering knowledge with CMMS proficiency (SAP desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive strategy and deliver reliability improvements.
- Engineering qualification (Degree/HND) plus strong health & safety awareness.
